Liability for Indemnity & Collision Damage Waiver(ＣＤＷ）
If you cause an accident and damage the vehicle, non-operation charge shall be charged for compensation of repair time regardless of degree of damage and time required for repair. The Company shall publicize the amount of such compensation in its tariff table.

All ABC Rent-a-car vehicles are insured with following conditions. However, any accidents, which cannot be covered due to indemnity clause, shall be under responsibility of the driver.
 

1. Third party liability coverage:
Bodily injury/death per person -- Unlimited
2. Property damage liability coverage:
Per accident - Maximum ¥ 5 million (Deductible ¥ 50,000)
3. Rented vehicle damage liability coverage:
Per accident - Current value

Passenger coverage : 10 million yen per passenger
**Maximum coverage of hospitalization or medication per passenger is 180 days from the date of accident.
Death : 10 million yen per authorized number of passengers
Medication : 5,000 yen per day
Hospitalization : 7,500 yen per day
After affects : to be decided with maximum amount of 10 million yen.

Liability coverage of above Clause may not be applied to such accident as follows.
1. The accident which is not notified to the rental office of the Company and to the police,
2. The accident any of the escape clauses of the damage insurance contract is applicable,
3. The accident occurred and comes under one of the provisions of (1), (2), or (3) of Article 9 after it was rented,
4. The accident comes under one of the provisions of (1), (2), (3), (4) or (5) of Article 17,
5. The accident caused in the period that is prolonged by the Renter without obtaining the permission of the Company.


Collision Damage Waiver(ＣＤＷ）　*It's not insurance

Collision damage waiver will cover vehicle damage dedactible (50,000yen) and property damage dedactible (50,000yen). We recommend you to add this CWD.

The registration for Collision Damage Waiver is applied only at the departure, so entry or cancellation can not be accepted during renting a car.

*We regard that Collision Damage Waiver fee will be paid to as use conditions of some bargain plans.
